Peoples Reaction to Party Actions
Read this and got inspired to come up with a few tables of my own.
When you have driven away or killed the local lord or imperial overseer
Roll 2d6
Add 2 if the locals are mistreated regularly or have been recently
Subtract 2 if a significant portion of the local Benefits from the authorities
2 The local population tries to capture the party and hand them over to the authorities
3 The locals refuse entry and will inform the authorities
4 The locals will grant hostipatlity for a night but inform the authorities and grant nothing more than a days supplies at inflated prices
5 The locals will grant hospitality for a night and grant nothing more than 3 days supplies at inflated prices
6 The locals will grant hospitality for a night and grant supplies at inflated prices
7 As above but for normal prices
8 As above and a local wants to join the party
9 As above and the hospitality is extended to a week
10 As above and they are willing to hide some of the parties stuff
11 As above and they are willing to hide people
12 As above and they are willing to grant supplies regularly
13+ The settlement is willing to join the party in an open revolt against the authorities
When bringing back loot from a nearby site/dungeon

Add 2 if the settlement has rituals relating to the site
Subtract 2 if the settlment already undertook attempts to plunder the sight
2 The locals are willing to pay exorbitant prices for the goods
3 The locals are willing to pay inflated prices for the goods
4 The locals are willing to pay regular prices for the goods
5 The locals dislike the plundering but you may sell the goods at black market prices
6 Non of the locals are willing to buy the goods
7 The locals demand the most important be returned to them
8 As above and you are barred entry unless you return the entire goods
9 The locals demand the full restitution of the stolen goods
10 As above but the party is also requried to pay compensation for interfering with the site
11 As above but the party is driven from the place
12+ There is no way to make up for what has been done the party has forfitted their lives with their heinous crimes
The party ran into a group of robbers/highwayman/pirates

Subtract 2 if the advantage seems to be with the party

Subtract 2 if the observer is in conflict with the law
2 The observer is awed and asks to become an aprentice
3 The observer is awed and offers to enter the magicians service
4-5 The observer is awed and will tell no one
6-7 The observer will tell close friends and family but not name the magicians
8 As above but the magician will be named/described
9 The observer will inform the authorities of an incident
10 The observer will inform the authorities and describe the magician
11 The observer will organize locals to stop the magician
12+ The observer will take action imediatly
The Party comes across members of a secret community
Roll 2d6
Add 2 if the party carry symbols of the local authority
Subtract 2 if the party looks to be aligning with the communities way of life
2 The party is invited to join the community
3 The party is offered hospitality by the community
4 The party is offered hospitality if they are willing to complay with meassures to obfuscate the communities home(think LotR elves blinding the party before allowing them entry)
5-6 The party are offered from what their encounters have amongst them but asked to return to where they came from
7-8 The party is required to go back to where they came from
9 The party is escorted back to where they came from
10 The aprty is disarmed and escorted to where they came from
11 The party are attacked until the flee
12+ The party are hunted down no living soul may tell of this place
